The exhibit is a life size sculpture of Mother Nature, Gaia. Compiled from string, wire, plaster and bio resin. Inspired by local flora and fauna, river views & Ann Pratt, Victorian stood born illustrator. The sculpture stands at approx 5ft 7 and emits light from within to reveal sculptures of birds, mice, leaves, flowers all painted in a variety of colours.

Bronach is a collage artist. She creates unique pieces from her original photographs. She is an avid walker, and her source material is gleaned from many sites she has visited and photographed. Using the photographs, she deconstructs the images to create a new and sometimes challenging view of her world

Bishops Square is a small neighbourhood comprising of 102 houses in central Rochester. In photographer Nikki Price’s latest community project, visitors are welcomed to wander the square viewing photographs in the windows of those who live there. Tracey works mainly with porcelain and bone china, in which she captures fine details and uses its translucency. Her earlier experience in oil painting has a strong influence on her work in ceramics, particularly in her use of colour and clay application. Tracey finds beauty in simple everyday objects that might otherwise be overlooked and captures this through the casting process, among other techniques. A wide range of functional and decorative pieces will be available.

Jane Furst’s prints reflect her preoccupation with natural forms, art and science. My work shows fragments of the landscape around the Medway, focusing on the relations between the water and the land. For this I used Local Seaweed to create a Sustainable darkroom recipe that develops and prints the photographic images, connecting the water with the land.

I make a variety of glazed stoneware bowls and beakers for domestic use. I also throw and alter earthenware to make irregular vessels, which I fire in a ‘homemade’ sawdust kiln, before finishing with beeswax and buffing to a soft sheen.

After a two year haitus Richard has rebooted a project originally due to be shown at the 2020 MOSAF. Kent’s seaside shelters figure in his childhood memories of family holidays now long gone. These photographs capture them, and other coastal architecture, today; part-restored, part-derelict, but a typical seaside feature.

We are five independent artists: Kerry Owens (bohemian lapidary jeweller), Tracey Wood (light laboratory visual artist), Carrie Stay (illustrator/designer), Drew Graves (urban photographer and digital artist) and Ben Cotterill (painter/illustrator).
